Classical Error

I have been spending quite a substantial amount of time on the guitar. Although I started playing like 7 years ago, there's just this sudden passion ignition.

Any way, during these 7 years, I have always wondered why some people keep their finger nails long ( plucking hand ) . I personally preferred short nails where I touched the strings with my flesh. The nails just didn't sound right to me .

But today, I found out why.

The songs that I have been playing aren't classical music, and some classical guitarists are the ones keeping those nails.

I er.. have been playing pop songs where the guitar sings on its own.

I think I have been calling myself a classical guitarist just because I own a classical guitar.

How shameful.
