For Better or For Worse

I realise that I haven't been blogging for a long time. I think it's mainly due to the fact that I am currently working.

So, I read the newspaper today about a man who lost most of his eyesight and hearing due to dengue. And I used to think that dengue wasn't dangerous.

When he contacted the disease, he was at the peak of his career as an engineer. And, you've guessed it , he lost everything.

While reading through his story, I was thinking, "Hmm... the wife is still holding on? This is impossible." Hence, I increased my reading speed until the part where he mentioned that his wife finally left him. Yeah, I am a pessimist. At least I was right.

I totally do not blame the wife for doing so. Every woman deserves a man who can provide financially.

For better or for worse.

But how bad can the circumstance be before the string snaps.

For now, I am just glad that the man is doing well. His mother and brother stayed with him all this while. And of course, not forgetting God.
